Positions that we are looking to hire for:
PART TIME AND FULL TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE!
Under the supervision of the supervisor or manager on duty, the Wheelchair Agent is responsible for assisting and transporting passengers that need special assistance to and from their assigned gate or other airport location in a friendly, courteous and timely manner.
-Assists and transports passengers requiring wheelchair assistance to/from assigned gate and/or from their arriving flights
-Safely lifts special needs passengers up/down stairs, seats of aircraft and in/out of wheelchairs.
-Assist with transporting mobility impaired passengers
-Assist passengers with completing documentation in order to be processed by US Customs.
-Reads appropriate paperwork to identify name, international flight information, date and special service request details to ensure special needs passengers are taken to the correct gate destination.
-Assists special needs passengers and unaccompanied minors in transporting and claiming personal belongings and baggage.
-Reads the airport monitors to determine arrival and departure information and arranges gate for incoming passengers who need special assistance.
-Greets passengers in a friendly and courteous manner.
-Use Tracking system and/or follow directions from assigned Dispatchers to provide pickup and drop-off of special needs passengers.
-Communicates instructions and special services to gate agent or other personnel for passengers with special needs.
-Gather wheelchairs in the concourse and returns them to the staging area for use.
-May assist in arranging ground transportation.
-Ensure all mobility impaired passengers are given adequate service.
-Coordinate between Wheelchair Staff and Baggage porter provider.
-Transport passengers out of airport restricted area to the meet and greet lobby area. (located at arrival level)
-Transport passengers to their connecting flights/terminals when appropriate.
-All other duties as assigned.
It is the responsibility of the Interline Baggage Driver to ensure that the baggage's are delivered in a safe and prompt manner. An Interline Driver's duties will include, but not limited to all of the following:
- Pick up and deliver transfer baggage's within 25 minutes to their designated drop off location
- Read and Understand bad tag information
- Learn airline drop off and pickup locations
- Operate a TUG safely, effectively and efficiently
- Comply with the Airport SAFE program
- Comply with Interline Baggage Standard Operating Procedure
- Must be able to lift, sort, carry and transfer baggage weighing between 50 to 75 lbs
- One must pass an AOA written test within the first 2 attempts
-Must have a CA Driver's License/ID in good standing
-Must be able to legally work in the U.S.A.
-Must have a High School Diploma or higher
-Must be able to stand 6-8 hours daily
-Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
-Must be proficient in English
-Must be able to work at a fast-paced environment
-Must pass a background check and pre-employment physical and drug screen
